Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl at the start of this year. This week’s prompt was ‘Bookish Items/Merchandise I’d Like to Own’. This, I imagine was a pretty easy list this week for most bookworms, all I really needed to do was jaunt on over to my local Amazon Wishlist page and see what I most wanted to drop hints about to my friends and family this close to Christmas.
I do not have affiliate links but I have included links to where you can purchase these goodies!
T-Shirt really speaks for itself, doesn’t it? I also like this green.
About half of you are thinking “Oh my God, I completely forgot about The Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare!”, unless of course, you reread the books recently and then maybe you didn’t. But yeah, I totally want to own this badge.
This handmade version of the Camp Half-Blood bead necklace from the Percy Jackson books is just so cool. It will go super well with my Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt and NYC Cap.
I have wanted these Tarot Cards for so long – so much so that when I bought them as a Christmas gift for my best friend a few years ago I very nearly, very muchly wanted, to keep them for myself (I didn’t, in the end).
6. Matilda Mug
It’s china, it’s footed, it’s bookish – it’s my kind of mug. This Matilda inspired mug complete with Quentin Blake illustrations is just so pretty – I must find space for it with the rest of my mugs – I must!
I love slippers and I just adored these Lord of the Rings inspired, cosy looking Hobbit Feet Slippers. They look so cosy and I can be ready for an adventure any time I put them on.
Not exactly bookish but Anastasia is possibly my favourite ever animated movie and this replica of her necklace is just to die for I mean, look at the detail!
This is the ultimate Bibliophile Bucket List, you scratch off the foil when you’ve read the title to reveal the awesome little cover. How cool is that? And on top of that it’s also made in the UK, so I get to support some local businesses.
I have needed/wanted a book sleeve for so long and this one looks so well-made. Also, it glows in the dark. Think about it – night-time, can’t sleep, fumbling around for light switch whilst looking for your book but – oh wait, what’s that glowing there? Your book!
I adore this scarf designed with an awesome quote from one of my favourites series – the same series with the quote that inspired the name of this blog, in fact:
“One must always be careful of books, and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”
Ahhhhhhh, the feels.
What bookish items do you want most, drop the links in the comments – I’m always looking for more things to not be able to afford! Don’t forget to post your Top Ten Tuesday links in the comments, too!
Until next time!
