I saw this post first over at Aurora @ Aurora Librialis‘s blog and thought it was such a cool, neat post idea that I asked Aurora if she would kindly let me
steal pay homage to with my own post. At first, I thought would be a good fill-in for weeks I didn’t have anything to write for WWW Wednesday but I think I’d like to do it maybe fortnightly as a way to bring focus to other interests of mine. Let me know what you think!
I’m Reading …
You Only Live Once by Jess Vallance
This is my first ever Readers First ARC and I have to admit I’m rather enjoying it so far. Our narrator has a really great, witty voice and I’m enjoying her story of self-discovery.
I’m Watching …
Voltron: Legendary Defender Season 7 (By Myself) & It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia (Re-watch) (With the Boyfriend)
Yeah, so my Netflix viewing is split into shows I watch myself and shows I have to watch with my boyfriend (true love, after all, is not watching ahead).
Between work and other responsibilities, I still have two episodes of Voltron Season 7 left, but I think I’ll knock them out tonight.
Alex and I have taken to having It’s Always Sunny on in the background and I’ll be honest, it isn’t a favourite of mine but it’s watchable. It’s Always Sunny is definitely a show for a certain sense of humour. It can get quite dark and frankly, all the characters are quite dislikable and just make terrible choices and every episode is just them trying to blag and lie their way out of the trouble and problematic situations they get themselves in. Some parts I find funny, others I look at my boyfriend with concern because he finds them funny.
I’m Listening to …
Absolute 80s Radio
We’ve taken a break from the same old playlists for our morning and evening drives to work and have been listening to Absolute 80s which – yes, you guessed it – play mainly 80s music. Why, you may ask, are two millennials that barely saw the tail end of the 90s listening to 80s music? Well, that would be because Alex believes he was born in the wrong era and missed everything he loves most. I don’t mind it, some of them are catchy.
I’m Working On …
Researching Study Techniques
My degree course (should I get onto it) is looming in my near future and I’m using some of my rare downtimes to look into ways I might make the next 5 years of my life somewhat easier because, as my boyfriend endearingly tells me, I am a massive nerd. I’m okay with it, and in between that I’m enjoying getting some preemptive blogging in.
I’m Going to …
Extra Driving Lessons
On top of my degree coming up, my driving test is also on the horizon and honestly, I need all the help I can get. academic I may be, but a driver I am not. I can do it, I’m not deadly, I just don’t find it easy which sucks. It stresses me out to no end and I’m just hoping to combat that with over exposure.
What are you guys up to these days? Busy busy busy? Do you like the post? Let me know in the comments!
