The State of the ARC meme was created by Evelina @ AvalinahsBooks.
My fourth month, let’s look at the scores on the boards!
Current Stats…
Well, my feedback ratio and average days after/before release has gone up but that’s because I got some batch/late approvals and finally submitted some overdue reviews and that affected them. Either way, I’m kind of okay with my progress.
Bloodthirsty Beasts I’ve Tamed…
This month the beasts were called:
- The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green – 3 stars
- Furyborn by Claire Legrand – 4.5 stars
- The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang – 5 stars
- The Disasters by M. K. England – 3.5 stars, I actually really loved this space adventure but with the release date not being until December you won’t be getting my review until a bit closer to the time!
State of the ARC Bingo
So at the very end of last month, Evelina posted in the Goodreads group about changing up the State of the ARC scoring system and gave us, State of the ARC Bingo instead! I love this idea so much more as I might feel like I’m actually making progress … because I did!
In Next Month’s Crosshairs…
I think I need to be more realistic about my goals so I’m going to try for a conservative list and hope to exceed it. These are the books I hope to read and check off my various reading challenges criteria.
Any words of encouragement would be muchly appreciated! Any of these on your TBR too? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time!
I marvel at your organization

You are very organised. I keep everything on my Outlook calendar so that I know launch dates/ tour stops etc..

I try to keep my google calendar updated but my Google Keep page keeps most of it! I basically live through lists and excel spreadsheets

Yeah, my NetGalley has taken a dive since I found Edelweiss, hoping to get the scales a bit more balanced this month 🙂 The bingo is super fun!

Well, it *was* an ARC when I received it but it came out last year before I was blogging and when I was not so great with reading the books I was given … review is going up this week though because I read it all in a day and I’m ashamed I haven’t read it sooner!

‘Was’ an ARC? You mean you got it as an ARC but it’s not available for requesting now anymore, right? I missed the request window as I hadn’t started book blogging then. I’m glad you loved it cuz I might buy it someday.

Yeah I got it as an ARC but it probably isn’t available now – I’m going to buy a hard copy myself!
