This is a tag formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words and answers three questions. I was at a festival this weekend so I haven’t got much reading done but I have inched slightly forward.
What are you currently reading?
I finally started The Electrical Venus by Julie Mayhew! Yay! Except not yay because I already don’t really like the writing style. I’m giving it a shot but … I’m not optimistic.
What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished Heavenward by Olga Gibbs – the review for which I will be posting shortly. This was an ARC from the author and though it does need a bit of work I did enjoy it immensely.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Next on my list is The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green which I have heard good thing about so I’m looking forward to it!
What are you guys up to lately? Read an especially good book? Taking a break from reading? Let me know in the comments and don’t forget to post the links to your WWW Wednesday too!
Until next time!
Shame on Electrical Venus, I kinda love its cover… But I might still give it a try. And Smoke thieves is on my TBR too…Happy reading this week Jordanne.. Im a little busy writing so no time for reading more. 🙂 🙂

My reading life has been all over the place, I can no longer predict what I’m going to read next because I’m too busy switching between books. HAHA.
But here’s my WWW link for the week if you’d like to check it out 🙂 https://bookdragonlair.wordpress.com/2018/06/13/www-wednesday-06-13-2018/

I struggled with the writing style of The Electrical Venus too, to the point where I gave it up after 70 pages in or so. No regrets.
I am really looking forward to The Smoke Thieves though. Plus it’s beautiful 🙂 Can’t wait to see what you think of it!

Yeah, the tense and description choices are … weird. I’ll give it until 20% and if I’m not feeling it I’ll have to skip over it I think.
