WWW Wednesday #7

This is a tag formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words. Late again with my post, but I had a blog Tour one for this morning’s slot. As you know WWW Wednesday answers three questions:

What are you currently reading?

Teo, S - Ponti

Now that I’ve finished with Song of  Blood and Stone I can dive back into Ponti by Sharlene Teo. Ponti, like many books I request (perhaps event misguidedly), is one of the ARCs I request having only read the first line or two of synopsis or (sometimes) just having looked at the cover and genre and decided to take a chance. I have no idea where it’s going and it’s fun to read books that way – I often find synopses misleading or spoiler-ish, what’s the fun in reading a book if you already have an idea of what’s going to happen? Where’s the adventure in that?

What did you recently finish reading?

Penelope, L - Song of Blood & Stone

I recently finished Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope, the awesome first instalment of The Earthsinger Chronicles – see my review from earlier today here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Once I’m done with those I’m still planning to move onto Red Hood and the Outlaws Vol. 3: Bizarro Reborn by Scott Lobdell and The Electrical Venus by Julie Mayhew – both of which are a tad late! Oops, better late than never though.

Comment the links to your WWW Wednesday, I’d love to read what you’re up to! Am I alone in requesting books without a clue of where the story is headed, or would you like to give it a try? Have you read any of these books or are planning to?

Until next time!
