WWW Wednesday #2

This is a tag formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and now hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words.

I wanted to have a banner/image to accompany all my posts and what you see above is what I created (with the help of a handy website called LogoMakr). Let me know what you think – and if it’s rubbish because I have like three other options.

Okay on with the questions:

What are you currently reading?

I am currently listening to the Cabin Pressure: Series 3 by John Finnemore Audible audiobook and reading The Gloaming by Kirsty Logan. Audible had a 40% off sale and I couldn’t resist getting it before my next credit was due *le shame*. The Gloaming I’m not sure what to think of but it’s a NetGalley book so I guess I’ll soon find out!

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Renegades by Marissa Meyer – I absolutely loved it! See my review here.

What do you think youโ€™ll read next?

Teo, S - Ponti

Ponti by Sharlene Teo has the same release date as The Gloaming so I’ll likely jump on that next. It sounds great and I’ve never read anything set in Singapore before so – should be interesting!

Have you read any of these books? What do you think of them? Let me know in the comments, via carrier pigeon or by paper airplane – whichever your preferred method of communication!

Until next time!

  1. The Gloaming has such a gorgeous cover and it sounds wonderful too, I’ve only read Kirsty Logan’s short stories (though I’ve had the Gracekeepers on my shelf for far too long), so I’m really curious to read a novel by her. Ponti’s new to me, but it sounds very interesting! I look forward to hearing what you think of them both ๐Ÿ™‚

    • The cover is so pretty – I’ll be honest I judge most of the books on NetGalley on the quality of their cover! I’ve never read anything by Kirsty Logan so I guess we’ll see ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. The cover of The Gloaming looks fab ๐Ÿ™‚ glad you loved the Renegades โ€“ havenโ€™t read it, but Iโ€™ve heard a lot about it ๐Ÿ™‚ thatโ€™s an odd version of the cover, never seen it before. Hope you enjoy these ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I think it’s the new paperback cover, I like it a lot more than the other ones, there’s also a cover like it that’s all black with a similar design. And thanks me too ๐Ÿ˜Š
